How do I view and print a weekly deposit summary on QB online?

I have the same question.  In particular looking for the totals for each week's deposits.  I've followed your instructions but I can't find any options in my QB for the "Group by drop-down menu, select Week"

Without this my report is blank.  Please help.

How do I see the total dollar amount of deposits for a week?  I've followed your steps but my QB doesn't have an area I can choose "Group by drop-down menu, select Week".  Without this my report is blank.

How do I view and print a weekly deposit summary on QB online?

Hello there, @deanhoover. I can provide you a more detailed steps on how we can view the total weekly deposits.

Let me guide you through the process on how we can customize the reports.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports page.
  2. Locate and open the Transaction List by Customer report.
  3. Select Customize then, on the General dropdown set the appropriate reporting date.
  4. From the Group by drop-down menu, select Week.
  5. On the Filter section, choose Deposit from the Transaction Type drop-down menu.
  6. Then, don't forget to select Run report to make changes.

If issue persists, we can perform the basic troubleshooting process. This helps your browser to work better and faster. Cookies and caches might block you from accessing your transactions.

Here's how:

  1. Restart your browser.
  2. Log in to your account and try to run the Transaction List by Customer report in an incognito or private browser. We can use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:

Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift +
Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
    Safari: press Command + Shift + N

  3. If it works on the private browser, we can go back to the regular browser and clear your browser's cache. From there, try to run the report and finish your pending activities.

To learn more about how you can customize reports and focus on the details that matter the most to you. Please check out this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online

You can also customize report and memorize it to save its current customization settings. It will serve as your record and help you quickly access it for future use.

I'll be right here if you need anything else. Have a wonderful day ahead!
