I understand that your TurboTax asks for your 1099, dawn. Let me share some information regarding this with you.

To begin with, it is important to understand that there is no need to switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to Solopreneur if you are looking for a copy of your 1099 form. The best course of action would be to contact your employer and request a copy of the form. They should be able to provide you with a copy of the form, which you can use to file your taxes or for any other necessary purposes.

Moreover, you can also ask your employer or client to send the invite to fill out your W-9. using the email address you use to sign in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.

After your employer or client submits your 1099-MISC to the IRS, you will get an email when it's ready for download. Then, sign in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account and view or print your 1099-MISC.

Here are the steps:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to the Clients menu.
  3. Select the Forms tab.
