Welcome to the Community, @sales190.

I've got steps to help fix the error you're getting so you can run payroll again.

The old internet files enable you to access pages easily. However, too much of them can cause unexpected QuickBooks Online (QBO) behavior. To isolate this, we can use an incognito window when logging in to your account since it doesn't store any cache data. Below are the shortcut keys you can use to access one:

  • Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome A63.PNG.
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox A64.PNG and Microsoft Edge A65.PNG.
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari A66.PNG.

Then, run your payroll again from there. If it works, clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh and do the task again using your regular browser.

However, if the issue persists, I recommend using another supported browser instead.

Also, there are a couple of payroll reports that you can utilize in QBO to monitor your business finances. Just go to the Reports menu, and then hover directly to the Payroll section. The following are some examples:

  1. Employees Details report gives you a snapshot of each employee, including pay rate, deductions, and tax withholding.
  2. Payroll Details report shows the paychecks you've created, including the amount, taxes, and deductions.
  3. Payroll tax Payments report shows payroll tax payments you’ve made.

You can customize them to personalize their details and formats or memorize them for easy access in the future.

Feel free to get back here in the Community if you need more help with managing your payroll or anything else related to QuickBooks. Take care and stay safe always.
