I understand the need to optimize a subscription that fits your financial capacity, Patty. I'll share some insights about downgrading your plan.
First, I'd like to inform you that migrating your company file from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Enterprise to lower versions like Pro or Premier isn't possible. You'll need to use a third-party app tool to migrate your data.
After doing so, you can choose a lower QBDT subscription, but you'll have to purchase them before July 31, 2024, since Intuit will no longer sell new subscriptions of QBDT Pro Plus, Premier Plus, Mac Plus, etc. Check out this link for more info: Final Desktop Plus Sale.
You can also consider moving to QuickBooks Online.
Finally, I'll add this resource to guide you about the features of QBDT vs QBO: Compare QuickBooks Online vs QuickBooks Desktop.
Tap reply below if you have other questions about changing your QBDT subscription or migrating your company data. I'll be around to help.
Which QB Desktop Enterprise year version do you have?
You can purchase a 3rd party service to downgrade your file to QB Desktop with a non subscription license.
