I see that you have two companies that you can switch back and forth, rmace_droi.

We cannot directly move the mileage trips from one company to another. Instead, you'll have to export the trips from the wrong company by downloading them. Here's how:

  1. Log in to the wrong QBO company.
  2. Select Mileage on the left menu and set the correct date range.
  3. Click the Download Trips button.

After downloading the trips in a CSV file format, you can switch to the correct company. From there, you can use the CSV file format for reference when entering the trips manually. You can also use this link as your guide: Automatically track mileage in QuickBooks Online.

Keep us posted if you have additional queries regarding the process of entering trips in QuickBooks Online.

It doesn't have that option online. Also, it doesn't put the return miles in. Some big oversites

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so the options within the system will function well, rmace_droi.

There are times that the browser is full of frequently-accessed internet files, thus causing unexpected behavior on websites, like QuickBooks Online. To start, try logging into your QBO account using a private browser. To use a one, here's how:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

Then, export your miles from the incorrect company and import them to the other account. If this works, you can switch back to the regular browser and clear the cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different browser.

Let me know how this works. I'm just around to help. Take care!
