Buy nowI'm doing the 1099 Misc on pro desktop and it says the font is preset to what irs requires, which I read to be 12 pt courier but it looks small. Any suggestions where/how to see what the setting is? thanks
I'll share a solution to help you with the font, outerbanks.
While we're unable to enlarge the font within QuickBooks, you can try changing the DPI settings by following these steps:
I've got this article for the other solution: Fix screen issues in QuickBooks Desktop.
Once done. open your company and prepare the 1099 form. You can follow the steps here: Create and file 1099s with QuickBooks Desktop.
If there's anything else you need, please feel free to reach out to me. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Take care!
Thank you for your quick reply but I am not that great with the computer to do that so I'm hesitant. Can you tell me if the preset font is acceptable to irs?
Thanks!

Thank you for your prompt reply. I'll take care of this question for you.
When you use the e-file service available in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you can rest assured that it meets the IRS standards. In case you missed the link my peer @RenjolynC shared above, check out this article: Create and file 1099s with QuickBooks Desktop.
In case you need to view or print your submitted 1099 forms, open this page: 1099/Tax/Where Can I See My Submitted Forms?
If you need anything else about your 1099 forms in QBDT, tag me in the comments below. I'll be sure to get back to you.
