Showing results for
Items (products & services) have been inactivated in QBO but still are appearing within the dropdowns for invoices and estimates. How do we get rid of this?
I want to ensure you're able to get rid of inactive items showing in the dropdown when creating an invoice or estimate, @stephaniefagan.
In QuickBooks Online, once you make an item inactive, this will not appear on the list when creating sales transactions.
To fix this, let's perform some troubleshooting steps. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, which causes some errors or unusual responses. Let's start accessing your account using a different or a private browser. You can use either of these shortcut keys:
Then, check if the inactive accounts still show. If not, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This is done to speed up the process next time you do a transaction in QuickBooks Online. Also, an alternative way is to use other compatible browsers.
