I'll make sure your legal business name gets corrected in QuickBooks Online (QBO) so you can set up your QuickBooks Payments account accordingly, TuffRoof.
After you edit and/or reenter your company name, ensure to select the Save button before you exit to retain the data. If you've already done so, this issue is likely browser-related, so let's troubleshoot and fix this.
Let's start by pulling up your QuickBooks account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
- Control + Option + P (Safari)
Once signed in, go to Account and settings and edit your Company name.
If you're able to do so, return to your default browser and clear its cache. After that, log out and then log back into your QuickBooks account. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues.
However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
Once everything is all good, set up your QuickBooks Payments account.
