integration of point of sales in quickbooks desktop

I'll be glad to share the steps to integrate your Point of Sale (POS) to QuickBooks Desktop. Here's how:

1. Open QuickBooks POS.
2. From the File menu, select Preference (or from the Edit menu, choose Preferences.)
3. Check the box next to Use with QuickBooks Financial Software.
4. Click Set up QuickBooks Connection Now.
5. Click Next.
6. Click Finish.

You indicated this is a NON QuickBooks Point of Sale.

You would need to contact that particular company to see if they have a ready made integration available.

If not, you would need to see about having one written. A VERY costly alternative.

We have QuickBooks POS and when I do a test customer in POS I am not seeing that customer in QuickBooks. I followed the instructions you gave and when I hit preferences it shows me company or workstation and I do not see what you suggested. Not sure what I am doing wrong here.
