Intuit Signin or Connect / Disconnect Button placement for new App in QuickBooks App store

All the official documentation I am finding states that if I would like to have a QuickBooks app in QuickBooks Online that is used to connect to a portal my company owns. Then on that portal there is a requirement for there to be either a "Sign in with Intuit" button and or a Connect/Disconnect combination associated to the instance of the logged in portal.

The question: Is there a way to avoid this requirement? This portal is used today with a few other ERP systems and it was not a requirement for them, it may expose several users that are not using QuickBooks with a potentially unusual user experience, seeing these new elements that do not relate to them.

Intuit Signin or Connect / Disconnect Button placement for new App in QuickBooks App store

Hi there, PatrickKent.

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing details on how apps in QuickBooks Online works.

When you're planning to integrate an app to QuickBooks Online, the data will be connected from those programs. That said, removing the requirement from the portal to log in using your Intuit credential isn't possible. This is because it's necessary to make the integration seamless or transfer the data well. Otherwise, QuickBooks won't be able to pull up your details.

Additionally, I suggest contacting the 3rd party app that you're intending to use. They have the idea and help you provide further details with the integration process to avoid some issues.

Lastly, you may refer to this article to view various information on how you can transfer app ownership or disconnect an app in QBO: Transfer app ownership or disconnect apps.

You're always welcome to post here if you have any other concerns about managing your apps. I'm always here to help.
