Join nowI am trying to connect unbilled AR expenses to an estimate but I do not want to invoice the full estimate/any percentage and do not want to have to key in the number needed to invoice each week (with the volume of invoicing, there's room for error with handkeying the numbers in). Is there a way to link what I have in unbilled expenses/job costing for each customer to an active estimate? I also need to keep track of what has not been invoiced yet, so I need the expenses to stay as unbilled/billed not non-billable. TIA.
Hello there, meredith096.
I understand how important to unbilled expenses from the estimate option. Currently, unbilled expenses from estimates is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop. In order for us to unbilled expenses from the estimate is to link the estimate to an invoice.
Always know that we take our customers' requests and ideas when prioritizing feature development.
Additionally, I've also added this article for additional information tracking expenses/job costing: Tracking job costs in QuickBooks Desktop.
Let me know if you have additional questions about managing your customers. I'm always here to help.
Thank you for your response. Is Quickbooks working on a feature that will link the two?
