Is anyone else experiencing an issue with the dashboard where the displayed bank balance doesn't update?

I previously reached out to QBO about this and received an email response assuring me they were aware and working on it. Today I was told there isn't an open case anymore yet the problem persists

Is anyone else experiencing an issue with the dashboard where the displayed bank balance doesn't update?

I'll ensure that your bank balance is up-to-date on your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Dashboard, billing.

 

Before we proceed, may I know which bank account is having trouble updating? Is it just the one account or are there others too?

 

In the meantime, I suggest you try performing a manual refresh on the bank account. To do this, here's how:

 

  1. In the left menu, click Bank transactions and go to the Bank transactions tab. 
  2. Select the appropriate bank account.
  3. Click the Update button. 

 

If you encounter any issues with your bank account, you can refer to this article for help: Bank errors and missing transactions in QuickBooks Online.

 

Once your bank transactions have been downloaded, you can start categorizing or matching them to reconcile your accounts. After that, you can proceed with your regular bank reconciliation process.
