Is there anyone who can help to resolve this issue on disabling the warning when a transaction isn't assigned a Class? Error code: -70001 "Something’s not quite right..."

After disabling and saving "Warn me when a transaction isn’t assigned a class", the complete error description shows on the top of the page as: "Something’s not quite right An application error has occurred while processing your request : -70001" I have reported it thru the support chat, but it seems going nowhere despite following-up the case number.

Allow me to share some information on the code that you're getting so you'll know what our engineers are doing right now, Benj_Acuña.

Currently, this is an ongoing issue. Our engineers are already working on this to resolve as soon as possible. While we don't have a workaround for this, you can assign a temporary class for that specific transaction so you can successfully move on with the process and prevents you from getting the error.

Also, I suggest reaching out to our support team again so they can include you on the list of users that are affected. This way, once fixed you'll be notified through email. To reach out to our support team, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Help menu.
  2. In the Assistant window, enter Talk to a human.
  3. Enter your brief concern in the field.
  4. Type in/click I still need a human until you see the Get help from a human option.

For your reference, you can run reports in QuickBooks Online to get the information that you need. Please check out this article for more information: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.

Reach out to us if you have any other concerns about creating transactions. I'll always be right here to help you.

Thank you for sharing this information to me @MariaSoledadG. However:

1) We don't want to add a class to every transaction because it's taking much time if we do that to every transaction line. In fact, even disabling the use of class (in Advanced Settings) also results to the same error.

2) I already did Get help from a human option and opted for live chat many times but seems getting nowhere:

  • the 1st expert, reported my issue. Few days after, received a no-reply-email notification that the issue is resolved so I tried to disable the 'Warn me' again but doesn't work. Issue still exists. So I tried to follow-up the case number.
  • the 2nd one, someone joined the chat but not responding despite my chats to follow-up the case.
  • the 3rd one, I followed-up the case but to my surprise, he ask me: "is this regarding the error on editing company address in Account & Settings?" so I explain the issue again (despite I was able to explain it clearly on the 1st expert) and noted that it seem it wasn't reported appropriately from the first chat I had. He then just replied "Thanks, please bear with me here". And then he left the chat without any advice what's next. So rude! I don't even received any email from Quickbooks support after that.

Not happy with QBO support nowadays. Very far from expectations.
