Journal Entries--Our accountant sent us some entries from 12/31/2019 and 1/1/2020 that she asked us to put in the journal entries. When I try to do this a warning comes up and I'm not allowed to save the entries.

Journal Entries--Our accountant sent us some entries from 12/31/2019 and 1/1/2020 that she asked us to put in the journal entries. When I try to do this a warning comes up and I'm not allowed to save the entries. I've tried adding them one at a time but it just freezes up when I try to either save and new or save and close. When I close out of quickbooks and go back in all the journal entries I tried to add are gone.

Please can someone help, We have told our accountant we are using Quickbooks Online, not desktop.

Hello Teresa,

You could be having a full cache that's why your QuickBooks freezes when you make journal entries. Let's get rid of this behavior.

Please log in to QuickBooks in a private or incognito window. This step disables your browser's extensions and blocks the cache from saving your browsing data. If you can save your entries, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If not, please try other browsers to see if the same thing happens.
