Do we have to count on Right Tools to give us what we are looking for in the future? You want everyone to move to Online but you can't give my clients the ability to do one simple thing in Online to mimick desktop. They still want to input their transactions manual for now, can we just get the enter button to work to move to the next transaction line in the register. It's driving them nuts and me. If I am missing 16 days of transactions I should be able to enter them rather quickly but now it takes twice as long. PLEASE! I am tired of sending feedback and telling all my clients and colleagues to send it. We have been asking for over 5 yrs for this simple feature!!
Transitioning from QBDT to QBO seamlessly is our goal, profinctax. I recognize your ongoing request for a feature that enables convenient transaction entry. In the meantime, I'll provide some alternative methods while you submit a request to our developers.
QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online are distinct products, each with its features. That's why we're unable to mimic one, as they have different ways of achieving a task.
Moreover, the ability to use the Enter button to manage your entries easily will surely save time. Since this is currently unavailable, I recommend sending this to our Product Development Team. I'll show you how.
