In QuickBooks Online (QBO), when you perform activities that redirect to the search engine, it will use the default one in your settings. To modify this, please refer to the steps below:
For Windows 11
- Click the Start menu.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Apps, then Default Apps.
- Under Set defaults for applications, type Chrome into the search box.
- Select Google Chrome and tap Set Default.

After doing so, you may resume connecting your account to QBO using Google Chrome.
