My browser setting is not showing up to date but when i open it, its not using google chrome, which is what is up to date. how can I change the setting to have chrome

Trying to link an account but browser settings being out of date wont let me

You’re in the right place for assistance, Scott. I’m here to help you change your default browser settings to Google Chrome. This adjustment will ensure that when you link an account within QuickBooks Online, it will open in Chrome, providing a smoother and more integrated experience.

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), when you perform activities that redirect to the search engine, it will use the default one in your settings. To modify this, please refer to the steps below:

 

For Windows 11

 

  1. Click the Start menu.
  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Choose Apps, then Default Apps.

  4. Under Set defaults for applications, type Chrome into the search box.

  5. Select Google Chrome and tap Set Default.

After doing so, you may resume connecting your account to QBO using Google Chrome.
