My memorized report is forgetting its filter

I can share with you some steps on how to get around this issue. Let’s ensure the software run smoothly, you’ll want to download the latest release of QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). This way, we can guarantee the software is packed with the newest features and fixes.

If this is not the case, I recommend running our QuickBooks Tool Hub to isolate this. This tool scans your company file for issues and fixes them right away. Let me show you how.

1. Close your QuickBooks.
2. Download our QuickBooks Tool Hub
3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
4. Follow the on-screen steps to install.
5. When the install finishes, open the tool hub on your Windows desktop.
6. From the tool hub, select Company File Issues.
7. Select Quick Fix my File.
8. Click OK when it completes and launch your QuickBooks.
9. Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.

Thank you for the additional advice, but neither of the tools worked. Quick Fix didn't make a difference, nor did File Doctor. In fact, File Doctor reported that it didn't find any issues.

Exporting to Excel and filtering there isn't an option. This task must be accomplished entirely within QuickBooks.

I'm running 2018 Premier with plans to upgrade to 2021 at some point soon. But it's going to be a while yet, in any case.

Do you have any ideas about what I can try next?

Normally, QuickBooks needs repair if the integrated tools and tool hub didn't resolve the issue you wish to get rid of. Let me show you how.

1. Go to Start.
2. Select Control Panel.
3. Under Program and Features, select Uninstall a Program.
4. From the list of applications, select QuickBooks.
5. Select Uninstall/Change.
6. Click Repair.
