What process did you perform when you receive the error? This is to check if it’s similar to the one reported to our engineers.
In the meantime, open QBO via a private or incognito window. This browsing session doesn't store data that can cause odd errors on a web page.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox.
- Press Command + Shift + N for Safari.
If you’re able to perform the tasks in QuickBooks smoothly, go back to the main browser and clear the cache. This process can help resolve various issues and is a good place to start whenever you see unexpected behavior in the product.
If the issue persists, use a supported browser. However, if the error occurs when editing an employee’s information, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team.
Doing so ensures your company is added to the list of affected users. You’ll also receive an email once there’s an update about the investigation.
