Not getting the Not Enough Quantity pop-up (Desktop Premier)

I just set up a new user on Desktop Premier 2020. He isn't getting the Not Enough Quantity pop-up when entering an Invoice or Sales Order. The other 2 users get the pop-up, so I know the company preferences are set up correctly. The new user has Sales and AR, Purchases and AP, and Inventory permissions. I just can't figure out why he's not getting the pop-ups. Very frustrating! SOS!!!

Let me show you how to make those pop-ups appear.

 

QuickBooks Desktop has the option to bring back all the pop-ups especially those related to products. You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
  2. From the General tab, make sure the Turn off pop-up messages for products and services is not checked.
  3. Click OK to save it.

If this doesn't help, you'll want to perform these additional steps to see if there's an error that may cause this behavior. You can find the detailed steps through this link: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.

  1. Choose Window then Close All.
  2. From the File menu, then Utilities.
  3. Select Verify Data and wait for it to load.
  4. Go back to FileUtilities then Rebuild Data.
