Hello! I have used previous desktop versions but in the Premier Contractor Edition 2020, it does not list Memo or Open Balance in the Customer Center under Transactions.
I am wanting it to show:
Type, Number, Date, Memo, Amount, and Open Balance
It currently shows:
Type, Number, Date, Account, and Amount
It is helpful to see at a quick glance what is remaining to be billed on an open estimate, open invoice amounts, etc.
Thank you for your help!
Thanks for reaching out to us, JBS2005.
I'm here to ensure that you'll get a clearer picture of your customer transactions.
The Transactions tab in the customer profile shows the basic information of the transaction, such as type, number, date, and amount. If you'd like to see the other details, you can select the View as a Report option at the bottom to add the desired columns. I'll guide you how:
You may also memorize this report to save its current customization settings. Additionally, I also recommend reading this article to help easily keep track of your sales and expenses: Customize customer, job, and sales reports.
Feel welcome to reach out to me again with any questions you may have and I would be more than happy to help.
I'm here to help you see the Open Balance column on your QuickBooks Desktop, JBS2005.
The said column is available on QBDT Premier 2020. However, you need to view from the Transactions tab. See the attached screenshot below for your visual guide.
The Open balance on your screenshot is available on QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. You may need to switch to another version of the software to see the column.
