Packing Slips

Is there anyway to upload our own version of a packing slip? We are required by one of our customers to have very specific verbiage and packing slip layout for all packing slips. We are using QB Enterprise and using the Sales Order Worksheet.

Thank you for visiting us here in the Community, @MDFHFT.

Uploading your version of the packing slip is a great feature for your business. However, currently, the option isn't available in QuickBooks Enterprise Suite (QBES)

Nevertheless, you can visit our MarketPlace website, and scan through to get a better comparison of the available apps and see if one meets your needs.

While doing that, I'll be sending feedback on your behalf. I appreciate you for voicing out your idea, with that we can then address what needs to be improved to give our customers a better customer service experience.

Also, you can visit our QuickBooks Help website to check some useful articles that you can use in the future: QuickBooks Support.

Please let me know if you have additional queries. I'd be glad to assist you as soon as I can. Keep safe and healthy.

Packing Slips

So in reading this, am I to assume that packing slips generated from Sales Orders can not be customized?  Can I make though 2 different packing slips to print.  For instance: (1) for just regular sales and (1) for hoist sales (I would like to include verbiage for only the hoist P/S?

Thanks for joining this thread, Liftco.

Currently, the option to customize transaction templates is only available for invoices, sales receipts, estimates, purchase orders, and statements.

I can certainly understand how an ability to create a custom packing slip could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

You can also submit your own feature requests while using QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. In the top menu bar, go to Help, Send Feedback Online, then Product Suggestion....
  2. Choose a Type of Feedback and Product Area (optional) from your available drop-down menus.
  3. Enter any suggestions/feedback in the Here is my suggestion: field.
  4. If you'd like, include your name/email in the My name is: (optional) and My e-mail address is: (optional) fields.
  5. Select Send Feedback.

Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. I will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates.

You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by checking out Intuit's QuickBooks Blog.

As a workaround, you can customize a template, then duplicate it so that its design can be used for packing slips. This will enable you to have multiple templates for them. Additionally, you can check out our QuickBooks App Store for apps that may help you achieve what you're looking to do.

Please don't hesitate in sending a reply if there's any questions. The Community's always here to help. Have an awesome Wednesday!
