PDF Invoices print in wrong format

Hello I make custom invoices for my customers that order spice racks from me. My invoices contain a lot of detail. The print preview looks create but when I actually print the description parts turns into a narrow strip instead of how the preview looks. How can I fix this?

PDF Invoices print in wrong format

Hello there, sgarcia8028.

I can share information and provide a workaround to the issue when printing the invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Yes, you're right. In the usual way, the description field in the invoice will slightly narrower when you print the invoice, especially when you enter a lot of information.

Additionally, the option to change it is unavailable. I suggest sending feedback to our product development team for this feature. That way, they can get to know this option better and may add this to future product updates.

Here's how:

  1. Select Assistant in the upper-right corner.
  2. Type and enter "Submit feedback" into the chatbox.
  3. Choose the Add a feature and follow the prompts to send your feedback.

As a workaround, you'll want to download the PDF copy of the invoice, manually edit it, and then print it.

Furthermore, I'm attaching these articles for future reference in managing invoices and other transactions in QBSE:
