Price of Inventory

Hey there, Carole1806.

Thanks for turning to the Community for support. I'm happy to help so you're able to update inventory prices in QuickBooks Online.

Missing buttons or functions within the system are usually signs of browser related issues. Clearing the cache is a great place to start troubleshooting in this scenario. Clearing it will remove anything that's preventing the page from loading properly. Here's how to get this done in Chrome for example:

  1. At the top right, click More (three vertical dots), then Delete browsing data.
  2. Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time.
  3. Select the types of information you want to remove.
  4. Click Delete data.

The following article provides similar steps depending upon which browser you're using: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

Please give this a try and then try updating the price once more. Assistance is only a comment or post away if you have any other questions.

Price of Inventory

Hi there, Carole1806. I genuinely appreciate the effort you’ve put into following the recommended steps. Using a different compatible browser is a great next move, as it creates a fresh environment that often resolves specific layout issues completely.

Since you’ve already cleared your browser cache, I suggest trying another browser or device that meets the basic system requirements. Switching browsers is one of the most effective ways to address a stuck interface in QuickBooks Online. If the Save button isn’t visible in one browser, it likely will be in another.

Additionally, the QuickBooks interface sometimes doesn't scale well on certain screens. If your browser zoom level is set above 100%, the footer (where the Save button is located) may be pushed off-screen or hidden behind your computer's taskbar. Try pressing Ctrl and - on Windows, or Cmd and - on Mac, to zoom out to 80% or 90%. After that, check if the Save button appears at the bottom.
