Print Tax payment

How do you print tax payments in intuit quickbooks online. There is no option to print when you create the epayment and the printing does not seem to be available later either.

Allow me to share some information regarding printing tax payments in QuickBooks Online, flac-ruef.

Printing tax e-payments is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. You can only print the checks if you've recorded the tax payments manually.

As a way around, you can generate and print a report that shows all the tax payments made in QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. From the left menu select Taxes. Then select Payroll Taxes.
  2. Select View Tax Payments you have made.
  3. Filter the date range. Then select Update Report.
  4. Select the payment date to view the details of the payment.

You might find the following articles interesting. It contains more details on what are the forms we don't send to your state and when to access copies of the filed forms. Also, you'll find steps on how to view your tax forms in QuickBooks:

Tax payments and forms Intuit payroll submits for you.

Access payroll tax forms and tax payments.

If there's anything else I can help you with, please let me know. I'm more than willing to lend you a hand.

I am suddenly having this same issue in quickbooks desktop pro.  I used to submit my epayment and a box would pop up for me to print the payment.  the last two weeks i have not gotten that pop up.  I need to print this for my records, is there a new way to do this?

I'll make sure you'll be able to print your E-Payments, @jlmcclure.

Let's work together and isolate this issue. To begin with, let's update your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to the latest release. This way, we can guarantee the program is running on the newest patches and fixes. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Help menu and click Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Select the Update Now tab.
  3. Click Get Updates to start the download.
  4. When the download finishes, restart QuickBooks.
  5. Then accept the option to install the new release when prompted.

How do you print a copy of a Federal Tax deposit EPAYMENT.  You can not print it as a check, due to a number not being assigned.

Happy to welcome you here in the forum, @Traci 2. I'd gladly share the information that could help you achieve your goal.

Before that, I would like to confirm what version of QuickBooks you're currently using. Is it QuickBooks Desktop or the web version of QuickBooks Online?

If it is QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you can only pull a report to view and print the recorded tax payments. Here's how:

  1. Go to Employees and select Payroll Center.
  2. Click the Transactions tab and choose Liability Check.
  3. Then right-click on the list and then View as Report. There you can customize the report. Filter it out the name to IRS to show all the federal taxes payments.

On the other hand, with QuickBooks Online (QBO), same with QBDT you can only pull and print a report that shows all the tax payments made in QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. From the left menu, click Taxes. Then select Payroll Taxes.
  2. Click View Tax Payments you have made.
  3. Filter the date range. Then click Update Report.
  4. Choose the payment date to view the details of the payment.
