"Products & Services" tab won't show my products

I've contacted support regarding this issue, but they couldn't solve it.

 

My products, except two new one's I've added, won't show up in the "Products & Services" tab, so I can't edit them.

 

I can still invoice the products, they still appear in reports, and QB says they already exist if I try to re-enter them.

 

The customer service rep and I have tried checking the filters/categories, using different browsers/incognito, and exporting a list to excel. Nothing has fixed the issue.

 

Has anyone else experienced this/Can you help? Thanks.

"Products & Services" tab won't show my products

I see that editing your products and service details would be helpful on your end in QuickBooks Online (QBO), CrescentSupply. Allow me to share information.

 

Make sure it is not hidden in the filter. Set the filter to ALL. Here's how and check the screenshots below:

 

  1. Under the Sales Tab.
  2. Choose Products/Services.
  3. Select the filter and pick All.
  4. Click Apply.

If the issue persists, run a product/service list report. Here's how:

 

  1. Select Reports.
  2. On the Search bar, type Select Reports.

  1. On the Search bar, type Products/Services.
  2. Click to run the Products/Service List.

  1. Select the Product/Service.
  2. Edit the details, then Save and close.

If the issue persists, I suggest contacting our Support Team for further assistance with this concern. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select (?) Help.
  3. Select the Assistant tab to get help from the QB Assistant, or Select the Search tab to enter your question and find Help articles.

Thank you so much for your reply.

 

I checked the filters again to make sure "all" was selected, but the products still wouldn't show up.

 

I tried your second suggestion and the products showed up on the product/service list report. However, when I click to edit a product, the page just keeps loading.

One of the main reasons this is happening is due to stored cache, which can block web pages from loading properly. If you haven't done so already, let’s start by clearing the cache to resolve any loading issues and give your browser a fresh start. Here's how:

 

 

Log in to your QuickBooks account in an incognito window and attempt to edit your products again

 

If the problem persists after trying these steps, I recommend contacting QuickBooks Online Support. They have the proper tools to dig deeper into your account and can assist with more advanced troubleshooting. They may also open an investigation if necessary.

 

  1. Go to the Help icon in QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Provide a brief description of your issue, then select Let’s talk.
  4. Choose a way to connect with support: Start a chat or Get a callback.

Thank you for your reply.


I use the downloadable desktop app for QB Online, but I did try clearing cache, using different browsers, and trying incognito.


The customer service rep I spoke with before posting on the forum suggested the same troubleshooting steps. They could not solve the problem and said they would open an investigation. However, I did not receive a confirmation that an investigation was opened.

"Products & Services" tab won't show my products

I'm battling the same issue. I converted two company files from desktop to QBO. One of them works correctly, and the other doesn't. I've spent hours on the phone with support, and nothing has been resolved. One tech had me import my list from desktop, which added doubles of the items that would import, but I can't get rid of the original "hidden" items. I started renaming the new duplicate items and making them inactive so my employees won't be confused, but it suddenly stopped letting me do that. Now I get a message that something went wrong when I try to edit or make items inactive. And like you, I never got a confirmation (like they said I would) that an investigation had been opened. Then one day, I got an email saying my issue had been resolved when it had not. I'm sure it's the same for you, but I don't have time to spend with support having me take steps I know won't solve the problem. I have found that phone support is the best way to deal with them. I had a tech on chat who, after I forced her to do screen share, simply could not understand my issue, suddenly disconnected the chat without a word, and left me hanging. It's beyond frustrating.

I spoke with multiple customer service reps before one informed me that I was experiencing a glitch that other users were too. One day, I logged on, it was fixed, and I got an email that the issue was resolved.

 

Have you been talking to the data migration team? I've found that they're better equipped for these kinds of issues.
