I am having an issue where when I start the quick books pro 2020 desktop application while connected to the internet it hangs on the screen shown in the attachment. If I start quick books being disconnected from the internet, it starts as expected. Please see the attachment for a screen shot of the message seen.
I appreciate the screenshot you've shared, @rm760.

No joy after trying all of the solutions offered. Running the desktop update app inside the QB application proves the app can get to the intuit software repository on the internet. I must tell you I am getting frustrated with the pop ups that appear and reappear even though I check the box to not show again and this issue at hand. I feel like intuit is treating my as a captive audience. I wish there was a way to turn off the need for the product to have to connect to intuit every time.
I understand going through multiple troubleshooting steps and not having any of them work can be a real pain, rm760.

I do appreciate the steps you've performed, rm760.
