QB Desktop 2021 Users

The business has about 25 separate companies set up in QB Desktop Pro, 2018. Each company has 3-4 users set up, plus ADMIN. Some users just do data entry, some have more extensive rights. Only one company can be open at a time, which is fine.

Can this still be done with QB Desktop Pro 2021? I am confused by what I am reading about licensing individual users.

Just to clarify your current license. You have QBD 2018 Pro for 3 users. Are you able to access the same file with 5 users at the same time?

No, one user at a time in each company. If someone is working in Company 1, then nobody else can be in it. This is fine. There are so many companies, switching to another until the user is done in Company 1 is fine.
