Quickbooks Desktop 2022

We've upgraded to QB 2022.  Not sure whether is was worth it!.  No more Loan Manager and the issue with emailing to Outlook is still not fixed!!!

    This isn't the kind of service we want you to experience, @CTES92058. 

     

    Allow me to step in and help you with your concerns. 

     

    The Loan Manager (.lmr) files may be missing when moving the company file into your new computer. Aside from creating a backup copy and restoring the file, let's try using the Migrator Tool. This way, the tool will download the correct version of QuickBooks to your new computer and set it up with your files.

     

    Just follow the steps and details in this article: Move or reinstall QuickBooks Desktop to another computer. Then, go to How to set up and use the Migrator Tool section.

    The odd behavior of your outlook email normally happens if you're not using the updated version of your Outlook. You'll want to make sure that you're using a compatible one on your QuickBooks Desktop. Please check the information provided below:

     

    Also, ensure to update QuickBooks to the latest release. However, if you're using a compatible Outlook version and yet you're still getting the same issue, you can run repair Outlook to double-check if this is caused by the application that you're using.     Thank you, Abigail,  We appreciate your quick reply. 

    However, Loan Manager has been disabled in QB 2022 - it even says so when opening the company file. So migrating the company file wont do any good, since it's being upgraded to the new version.

    With regard to the Outlook issue - I have checked that all is updated and gone through the article you are referencing without success.

    I used to work and then from one day to the next it didn't.  The only difference at the time was an R update to QB 2021.  It was our hope that update to QB 2022 would solve the issue....but no such luck!

    Since the troubleshooting steps shared by my colleague above didn't work, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can further look into the Loan Manage issue and provide in-depth troubleshooting steps to get this fixed. 

     

    On the other hand, our product engineers are still looking for a permanent fix on the issue of sending emails to Outlook. Rest assured, they're diligently working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. To add your company to the list of affect users, you can share this investigation number (INV-0671) when contacting our support team. Here's how to reach them:

     

    1. Go to the Help icon and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
    2. Click Contact Us.
    3. Write your concerns in the description box, then select Continue.
    4. Select which one of the support options you'd like to use.

     

    You might want to learn more about Loan Manager. This will help you track your new loans, existing loans, and make repayments.
