The Loan Manager (.lmr) files may be missing when moving the company file into your new computer. Aside from creating a backup copy and restoring the file, let's try using the Migrator Tool. This way, the tool will download the correct version of QuickBooks to your new computer and set it up with your files.

Just follow the steps and details in this article: Move or reinstall QuickBooks Desktop to another computer. Then, go to How to set up and use the Migrator Tool section.

The odd behavior of your outlook email normally happens if you're not using the updated version of your Outlook. You'll want to make sure that you're using a compatible one on your QuickBooks Desktop. Please check the information provided below:

• System requirements for QuickBooks 2020 and Enterprise Solutions 20.0

• System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop 2021

• System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop 2022

Also, ensure to update QuickBooks to the latest release. However, if you're using a compatible Outlook version and yet you're still getting the same issue, you can run repair Outlook to double-check if this is caused by the application that you're using. However, Loan Manager has been disabled in QB 2022 - it even says so when opening the company file. So migrating the company file wont do any good, since it's being upgraded to the new version.

With regard to the Outlook issue - I have checked that all is updated and gone through the article you are referencing without success.

I used to work and then from one day to the next it didn't.  The only difference at the time was an R update to QB 2021.  It was our hope that update to QB 2022 would solve the issue....but no such luck!

Mark, there is no Loan Manager option in QB Pro 2022.....

If the feature is critical for your business, don't upgrade to QBD 2022. You can still purchase the one time license for QBD 2021 to keep using this feature (and cancel your QBD Plus subscription if required).
