Hi All,
It seems the last stable version of Desktop Enterprise 2022 R14_52 on WIndows 2022 R2
Just a warning to all users the recent update R15_25 on Windows 2012 R2 for Quickbooks Version 2022 causing a issue with
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 22.0\qbw.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ucrtbase.DLL
The fact we are forced to upgrade the application and get know warnings from Quickbooks does not make sense.
On QuickBooks support page for OS requirements they show Windows Server 2012 R2 as compatible and then they roll out a forced upgrade that crashes on Windows 2012 R2 and then the Tier 1 support throws their hands up and says "It's and OS issue"
Windows 11, 64-bit, natively installed (QuickBooks Desktop 2022 R3 or later)
Windows 10, all 64-bit editions, natively installed
Windows 8.1, all 64-bit editions, natively installed
Windows Server 2019, Standard and Essentials
Windows Server 2016, Standard and Essentials
Windows Server 2012 R2, Standard and Essentials
Windows Server 2012, Standard and Essentials
Then you waste hours with Quickbooks Level 1 support that just read off a menu and don't really have technical experience make things even worse.
I was asked by support to upgrade to version 2024 and that created the same issues so now scrambling to create a resolution for my client
Paying $500+ a month for a application that Quickbooks really can't support does not make sense.
Provide us with some upper tier support and not waste 5+ hours with Tier 1 support who are really customer support and not technical support.
Or better yet test your upgrades or don't force updates to users in a production environment
I am not the only person in this community that have wasted countless hours with your product over the years
Hello there, Chris.
I understand the urgency of this matter, and I appreciate you for sharing your experience with one of our support. We'll take note of it. Let me provide additional information about the compatible server for your company file.
Since you're using QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Enterprise 2022, you can use the Server 2012 R2 for QBDT 2022. I also recommend running the Quick Fix My Program from the QuickBooks Tools Hub as this can fix common errors when using the product. For the best experience, I suggest using this on Windows 10, 64-bit.
Let's begin with downloading QuickBooks Toolhub. Check the following steps for guidance:
After that, you're now ready to run the Quick Fix My File and QuickBooks File Doctor utility:
If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Technical Support again to take a closer look into your account and investigate the issue further since we're unable to do this here in the Community space.
Let me know in the comment section if you require more assistance in completing your other program tasks. I'll be around.
