I was upgrading a company file when my computer shut down. Tired to open the file using the previous QB version and the newer QB version but the file would not open.Installed Quickbooks Desktop File Doctor. Selected the file to repair, but was it begins the repair process, an error message appears saying the password is incorrect. The password entered is the password used with this file forever. I'm stuck and can't get past this error.
Tried turning off firewall, removed special characters from the file name, and now frustrated. Appreciate help. Thanks.
