Be careful, I have been scammed twice trying to buy the program, once from an online market place and then I was on the phone with Quickbooks and spent $900 and the QB represented took my money and the program was instantly installed on my computer and now QB is telling me I do not own the program.  I would look for another software completely!

Since the QBDT versions from 2022 and onwards are now subscription-based, the one-time license is no longer available. When you purchase QBDT Pro 2024, you'll pay its subscription rate annually to keep the account active.

Furthermore, please be reminded that after the 30th of September of this year, buying new subscriptions for the following QBDT plans will no longer be supported:

• QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus.
• QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus.
• QuickBooks Desktop Mac Plus.
• QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll.

I think it is irresponsible of QB to imply (in the answer immediately preceding mine) that a non-subscription option is available from 3rd party vendors when, in fact, it isn't. Intuit has not just made Quickbooks more difficult and less available to very small businesses. It is making the simple job of getting information about it difficult.

I know that the team members here are not responsible for that, but I hope the message is passed on to those above you.

No, I don't need extras. That is why the subscription service seems so unreasonable. My needs are actually not that big.

since early 2024 we have not been able to process credit card transactions on our version of Quickbooks (QB 19) if we decide to go with a third party reseller of the QB 2024 plus Non-Subscription edition, will we have access to the credit card payments part of QB? i.e. the Intuit quickbooks payments account.?

First, there is no QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2024 Non-subscription edition. The only way to access QBDT 2024 is through a subscription plan, which includes Pro Plus, Premier Plus, and Enterprise subscriptions. You can subscribe online or contact our sales representatives.

Additionally, QBDT 2021 and older versions must upgrade to a supported subscription to maintain live technical support, access Intuit add-on services (like Payroll and QuickBooks Payments), and receive critical security updates.

By keeping your account to the current version of the QBDT 2024 subscription and then connecting your Quickbooks Desktop Payments account, you will have access to your credit card payment transactions.
