Quickbooks Drops Accountant's Copy?

I am having a recurring problem with only one client. Every time she sends me an Accountant's Copy, within a few days, her program somehow removes the restrictions.  I've re-done the same work 3 times now and when I try to send it back, she can't import it because there is no Accountant's Copy Pending.  She is using QB Pro 2019

Thanks for reporting this to us. I'll share information about the restriction.

 

Your client may be working on a backup file, or they may have removed the restriction. These are the possible reasons the restriction is removed, unless there's a data issue.

 

If your client is not working on a backup file or didn't remove the restriction, please have them contact our QuickBooks Desktop Support. That way, they can check their account using a screen-sharing tool.

Quickbooks Drops Accountant's Copy?

No, the client specifically did not remove the restrictions or work in a backup or alternate copy. This has happened 3 times this year so far. The first time, I thought - well, she removed the restrictions to work on something and I didn't say anything. The second time, I specifically said - "Please be sure not to remove the restrictions, as this is now the third time I'm having to do this work."  The third time, she specifically said she was very careful not to remove the restrictions - it is several steps, and not something that can be "accidentally" done.  She assures me that she did not do it, but suddenly the "Accountant Changes Pending" is gone from the top of the screen. I was hoping there would be a quick and easy fix without spending hours on the phone with Quickbooks support.
