So, trying to help someone who has made the questionable choice to move from Quickbooks Desktop to Quickbooks Online.
I'm trying to find solutions, answers.
One pain point is that unlike QB Desktop, QBO doesn't seem to allow you to view Undeposited Funds by payment type?
Is there something both he and I are missing?
If there isn't a way to view/group Undeposited Funds by payment type, is there a way to generate a report that will do that?
So frustrating.

Welcome to the Community! I can provide you with some steps to help you get this handled in QuickBooks Online.
All you need to do is sort and filter a few things within the Transaction Detail by Account report to get the result of undeposited funds grouped by payment type. Here's how:
From there, you can hit the Customize option at the top of the report and perform the following actions:

They're really looking for a way to work the way Desktop Premier worked.
Was able to work in batches/by payment type in Undeposited Funds.
I'm trying to get a better description of exactly what they want, so that I can try to call Intuit and see if there's something we're missing.
If not, is the a place to submit feature requests for QBO?
