Join nowI have a company file I converted from pc to mac. Everything is great except I lost all my attachments (I use them a lot). I copied my attachment folder from my pc to the mac, but I get an error when I try to open it on the mac. How do I move my attachments to the mac company file?
Hello, @ednkirstin.
Thank you for posting in the Community. I can help share some information about moving attachments to your Desktop Mac company file.
Opening the attachment file in your Desktop Mac may depend on the compatibility of your new OS. To check this further, let me route you to our Desktop Care support for Mac. They have extra tools to dig deeper into this in a secure environment.
Here's how you can reach them:
Our Mac support will look into this and ensure you can successfully open your file.
I'll also be on the lookout for your reply if you have other questions about moving your files. I'm here to help however I can.
The Mac and PC versions of QuickBooks use different attachments code and formats. This is one area that doesn't convert over between the two systems.
