Quickbooks Simple Starts 2010

I’ve got everything you need, so your QuickBooks Simple Start data will get transferred to your new company, Lauren.

If you’re referring to QuickBooks Online Simple Start, then yes. You can move your data to your new QuickBooks Online account.

Here are the steps to do it:

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Simple Start version.
2. Select the Gear icon, then click Export data.
3. Select your reports and lists, and filter the date period.
4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
5. Press Export to Excel.

Once the process is completed, you can now import the files to your other QuickBooks Online account. I’m glad to show you the steps.
 

1. From the other account, click the Gear icon.
2. Choose Import data.
3. Select the type of data that you'd like to import.
4. Click Browse.
5. Select the Next button until finished.

Install the trial license for QB Desktop Pro 2011 to upgrade your file. If you can do that, you may be able to upgrade your file to QBD 2015 and 2019/2020 before migrating it to QB Online. Contact us in private and we may share the trial codes.
