QuickBooks Support survey can't be completed, appears on every page

I don't even have QuickBooks yet, I'm trying to see whether it fits my needs. But every single tab I open on QuickBooks Support, there's a survey prompt that takes over the page. I've even filled out the survey, twice, only to get "authentication errors" so I'm not sure the results got through. Certainly the prompts keep coming. Then I tried to post in this forum and got another "authentication error".

 

That survey is the thing I hate most about QuickBooks.

 

I get it, I'm a software engineer, I understand the need to get customer feedback. But this is not the way to do it. It's leading me to doubt QuickBooks Online would be reliable enough for me to use.

This is not the impression we want you to have when trying to visit our support page, @vphipps1.

 

Let me help you fix this in no time. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed pages, thus causing some unusual responses. Let's log in to your account using a private browser.

 

Here's how: 

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari

Once logged in, try to open our support page again. If it works, go back to your default browser and clear its cache and cookies to refresh the system. If the issue persists, I'd recommend using other supported browsers in accessing the tab.
