Open your company file and run the Verify/Rebuild Data utility. Did you encounter any error message?

Quickzoom not working on Desktop Pro 2024

Thank you for getting in touch and providing detailed information regarding the issue you are encountering with the QuickZoom feature. Your input is greatly appreciated. We can work together to fix this as soon as possible, ddumo.

The QuickZoom feature is a valuable tool that allows you to explore your financial data in greater detail directly within a report, eliminating the need to navigate away from the current page.

Before we begin the troubleshooting steps, create a backup copy of your company file to prevent potential losses due to unforeseen circumstances.

Afterward, I recommend opening a sample company file to check if you'll still encounter the same unusual behavior.

If the issue is not occurring, you can follow Deity Alpha's recommendation to open your company file and utilize the Verify Rebuild tool. This is designed to help identify any issues, such as data damage, and helps rebuild it.

Here's how to verify your company data:

  1. Proceed to the Window tab, then Close All
  2. Click on File and select Utilities.
  3. Choose Verify Data. Hit OK

After that, follow these steps to rebuild your company data:

  1. Go to the File menu, then choose Utilities.
  2. Select Rebuild Data. QuickBooks will prompt you to do a backup before rebuilding your company file. Pick OK.
  3. Save your backup, and OK
  4. When the Rebuild has completed message appears, hit OK

If the exact thing happens, open your company file, and let's use the QuickBooks Tool Hub to fix common problems that prevent the QuickZoom feature from working or appearing on the report.

Please follow these step-by-step guide:

  1. Close your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), then download the recent version (1.6.0.3) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  2. Please save it in an easily accessible location and open it (QuickBooksToolHub.exe). Follow the on-screen instructions to install it, agreeing to the terms and conditions.
  3. Once complete, you can access the tool hub by double-clicking the icon on your Windows desktop.

Now, let's run Quick Fix my program:

  1. In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, click Program Problems.
  2. Select Quick Fix My Program.
  3. Start QBDT and open your data file.

Use the QuickZoom in a report again once you have finished following the troubleshooting steps.
