Hello everyone! It is my hope I can find a successful solution here. Issue: Transferred company file from old laptop to a new laptop two weeks ago. Unfortunately, the new laptop was damaged yesterday, 10-14, and will not boot up, it will need to be serviced and will take some time. I was able to access our company file on the old laptop; however, the entries on the register only reflect up to the date the company file was moved. Is there a way to access the "current" company file information another way, while the laptop is being repaired? QuickBooks support will not assist because we are using QB Desktop Pro 2017. Any assistance provided would be greatly appreciated.
No, unfortunately because your using the desktop version of QB, those files are only stored on the device that you are using.
Ask your technician to find any file of QBW, QBB, QBM and ADR.
