I was looking at one of my company files (I have 5) and on the My Company page, I decided to click on the View Owner link under Product Information. I got a message saying that I don't have permission to view that information. WTF?! I've never set up =any= permissions as I am, literally, the only person who regularly accesses the QB files. I log in to every company as Admin which, I assume, is the highest level. Again, WTF? How does Admin NOT have permission to view that info?
Any info or suggestions are appreciate.
Thanks for reaching out about this, @knoxfarm2020.

A few things I want to share with you. There's two types of admins: Company Admin and Master Admin.
The master admin is the main user who has access to every part of the QuickBooks account. They can manage all users and other admin tasks. By default, the master admin is the person who initially set up the account.
My question here is if you set up QuickBooks originally? If this was done by someone else, they may still have that Master Admin designation. Here's how you can transfer the role to another user.
If you're unsure of who is the master admin, you can reach out to support for assistance. Here's how:
I'd love to know how this goes. Please let me know what else I can assist with, I'm only a post away. Take care, and have a fantastic weekend!
I set up the first QB files almost 40 years ago, and NOBODY else has ever had an access account created, only the default Admin account has ever existed. I did confirm that this is happening with all 5 company files. FWIW, I've logged in as "Admin" since passwords were required. I'm the only one that has installed and maintained our QB program and files since we first started using it.
I appreciate you for following up with us, @knoxfarm2020.
I can see that you're the administrator of the account in here. To better isolate the error message, I recommend reaching out to our Support Team. This way, a representative can look into your account and review the root cause of the error.
