This is there a way to create a default for how transactions are seen in the bank feed? For instance I was it to always put the oldest transaction at the top of the feed. Right now it is doing the most recent.

Bank Feed View

Let me provide some details regarding the bank feeds view in QuickBooks Desktop, @TAConsulting.

I can see how essential it is for you to see your older transactions at the top of your bank feeds center. In QuickBooks, the default view in your bank feeds shows the transactions from the recent to the old ones. You can only sort out your transactions by date in the banking center.

For now, I suggest visiting our QuickBooks Blog website for the latest features being rolled out. It also contains news updates related to the QuickBooks product.

So basically the answer is you can't and when you start a new client and have to do a years worth of work, be prepared to be frustrated. The only guarantee you have is the QB support will either ignore you, don't know or tell you it can't be done.

I for one are looking forward to the time one of the smaller accounting software companies get up to speed and actually cares about the user and implement these kind of necessity features instead of wanting to compete with the big boys like Oracle Netsuite, which I do have clients on.
