Anyone else notice the last 4-5 days on QB Online, if you are building a new item in Producsts and Services is says the items already exists and also says you are already working on that item ? It appears to think you are logged in twice as the same user and blocks you from being able to add a new item while in a quotation.
You have to build an item , log out of QB, log back in and then add the item to you quote. Imaging doing an Estimate with 10 new items the headache this creates. Is QB working on fixing this ?

We haven't received similar cases about a possible bug when creating an item in QuickBooks. I have some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve that issue.
Let's start by opening an incognito window to fix the issue. You can use the shortcut keys below.
Also, please make sure that you're using a supported and up-to-date browser to make sure that QuickBooks runs smoothly.
Once done, add an item again. If it works, return to your default browser and clear the cache and cookies to refresh the browser's page.

So we have tried all suggested solutions. We are all on Windows 10 or 11. Cleared cache and cookies and problem still exist when using Windows Edge. I tried QB Online using Chrome and the problem went away, however Chrome does is not compatable with the Windows mail app we use that wros with QB Online .
This only recently started and all 4 users have experienced the same thing. Hopefully this is fixed in the next update ?

You could use the Firefox browser or our QuickBooks Online Windows app as a temporary workaround. I've included the link to install our app below if you decide to use it instead of a browser.
