Can I convert my QBD Premier 2021 edition into QBD Accountant?

You can open the same QBW file without converting it amongst QBD 2021 Pro/Premier/Premier Accountant. Otherwise, you can purchase the one time license for QB Desktop 2022 Premier Accountant or the subscription license for QB Desktop 2023 Premier Accountant Plus to upgrade your file. If you are not located in the US, you can purchase the license thru a partner/reseller.

I agree with Fiat Lux - Asia. You'll need to do is install the 2021 program on your computer with the new license and product details to upgrade your file. 

Once you're able to open and upgrade your file, you can pull up your backup and upgrade the file through it. This way, you can smoothly manage your company using the new version.

I already installed the QBD Premier 2021 Edition in my computer. Is there a way that I can change to QBD Accountant without purchasing a new license or subscription?

Since we're unable to alter the subscription from QuickBooks Desktop Premier to QuickBooks Accountant, we will need to purchase another license for Accountant versions.

However, we can switch to a different version of QuickBooks Desktop without reinstalling it. You can upgrade or downgrade to a different version listed below:

• Pro: You can switch to Pro Plus or Premier Plus.
• Pro Plus: You can switch to Pro, Premier, or Premier Plus.
• Premier: You can switch to Pro Plus or Premier Plus.
• Premier Plus: You can switch to Pro, Pro Plus, or Premier.
