Can I remove incorrect state forms from my payroll actions?

Quickbooks Online is showing tax forms for Utah, although I am only operating in Colorado. How can I remove the Utah tax forms from my payroll actions? (I was in Utah 7 years ago, when I was using Quickbooks Desktop. I switched to Quickbooks Online in August 2025.)

Your Utah tax forms still show up in your payroll actions when they are still active somewhere in your payroll setup. QuickBooks Online Payroll shows state forms for any state where you have a work location or an employee assigned to that location, even if they are inactive. You can check your payroll setup for any of the following and delete or reassign them.

  1. Go to the (?) Help button in the top-right corner.
  2. Select the Search tab and click Contact Us.
  3. Provide a brief description of your concern and Continue.
  4. Choose between Chat with us or Have us call you as your preferred option.
