Hey I'm trying to verify my bank account and it said to look for a charge LESS than $1.00.
The issue is I see a charge from Quickbooks exactly $1.00.
is this an error?
Do I just enter this amount?
Hi there, garrettb20.
Good to see you here in QuickBooks Community. I'm here to help provide some insights about the amount charge on your bank account.
Did you activate your Direct Deposit? If so, Intuit makes two small withdrawals of less than $1.00 each from bank account you set up for a test transaction. Since you've already verify the amount, what you need to do is enter the amount to confirm your test deposit.
To do this, let me walk you through the steps:
If you don't have the New payroll tasks button, here's another way to verify test transaction:
For additional reference, you can check these articles:
If you need further assistance with the steps, I recommend calling our QuickBooks Online Payroll Support. They have the tools to pull up your account and do a screen share.
Here's how you can contact our phone support:
That should do it! Please know that I'm just a post away if you have any other questions about the direct deposit. Wishing you and your business continued success.
JanyRoseB , what he is referring to is when Quick Books sent out his verification amount it withdrew $1.00 exactly not less. This helps us none. Why would quick books send out a dollar if it has to be less than a dollar? Mine is the same way. Been calling back and forth to get this account set up and its been a week now almost. Setting up a new business and its like taunting us.
I appreciate you joining the conversation and for calling support for assistance regarding the test debit, @Jeff G.
QuickBooks only makes a test deposit with an amount less than $1.00. I recommend re-checking your statement online or by calling the bank to ensure we got the right figure. The charge will appear as either “QuickBooks: Verify Bank” or “Intuit: Verify Bank”.
However, if it’s indeed showing exactly $1.00, I recommend calling our Customer Care Team again. They may have to resend the test debit to complete the verification.
You can follow the steps below to contact support:
Refer to the same article shared by my colleague for more information.
Please let me know how the call goes by updating the thread. I want to make sure this gets taken care of. Have a good night.
Can someone please help????.....everytime I try to enter the amounts under $1.00.....it will not let me and it gives me 30114 verification error.
I just changed my bank account info. It worked perfectly before that with my old bank account. It's the same bank institution just a different account.
Please advise.
Good day, 101Office.
I'd like to make sure we're on the same page. Are you trying to verify a test deposit within the payroll settings? If so, you can only get one attempt to verify your test transaction.
If it's unsuccessful, please reach out to our Customer Care Team. Before doing so, please check our support hours here. Then follow these steps:
I'm adding this article for reference: Verify test transaction.
Please let me know if you're referring to something else by adding a comment on this thread. Thanks.
