Can you add the “Create A Copy” function to the Build Assembly screen like it’s shown on the Purchase Order screen and Sales Order screen?

Also, based on your submitting feedback instructions within QuickBooks, how can we send the QuickBooks Development Team images of the improvement requests?  Is there an email address where we can send attachments to the QB Development Team?

I'll explain further how you can send product suggestions in a specific way in QuickBooks Desktop.

Since we are unable to attach a screenshot in the Feedback field, you may select specific topics as a workaround to find the exact product suggestion that you require. Let us now follow the steps outlined by my colleague above for submitting Feedback:

1. On the Product Suggestion page, select the Type of Feedback.
2. Next, choose the Area of Product.

3.Then, start discussing the topic.

4. Lastly, hit the Send Feedback button.

Furthermore, there is no set time or date for which this option is available. However, sending an email for attachments and feedback directly to our QuickBooks Development team is currently unavailable at this time.

How do I send the QuickBooks Development Team images related to my requests?  Is there an email address?

Images and photos are very important when explaining to QuickBooks problems and solutions. 

As it's said,  "a picture is worth a thousand words".

Allow me to share a few information when sending images for your requests, Dav.

For now, you'll have to send requests from the feedback channel of your QuickBooks product since we don't have a specific email address for this. As mentioned by @ChristineJoieR, you may select specific topics as a workaround to find the exact product suggestion that you require. Also under the Here's my suggestion box, you can vividly describe the product on how you want it to happen. I'm sure our development team will understand clearly on what you'll want to explain. All requests will undergo series of test before it's being implemented.

Furthermore, you may want to start setting up your inventory in QuickBooks Desktop. I have a short video that you can check out for more information: How To Set Up Inventory In QuickBooks Desktop.

Since I will not be able to personally submit the images on my end. Here’s what we can do instead as a workaround, you can post your concern again here in the Community together with the snapshots or images that you are referring to.

Once done, follow the steps outlined by my colleague, ChristineJoieR, and add the link of your new post where the images are attached. That way, our Development Team can check the link and view the images.

I appreciate your interest in having the option to Create a Copy in the Build Assembly window. However, this is still unavailable. Currently, we're unable to provide a specific time frame for when this will be implemented in QuickBooks Desktop.

If you haven't, please submit a feature request in the Feedback section of QuickBooks to help us enhance our services and better meet our user's needs. Here's how:

1. From the top menu bar, select Help and choose Send Feedback Online.
2. Click on Product Suggestion.
3. Click on the drop-down for Type of Feedback and select Product Suggestion.
4. Select the Product Area, then enter your thoughts and suggestions.
5. Once done, choose Send Feedback.

We constantly take your suggestions into account while making product updates. The more requests this gets, the more likely it'll be part of future enhancements.

Also, we have different reports in QBDT that you can generate based on your preference to help you manage your business:

• Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop

Can you please implement this idea and have a "Copy" button for creating Build Assemblies?  Are there any status updates on when this feature will be available?

This copy function would save a ton of time when the line items for a build assembly are assigned to different inventory sites.

Customer suggestions are opportunities to improve various feature of our products to give a great experience. Therefore valuable feedback will be forwarded and reviewed by our Product Development team. You can send a request to let know how this is useful for your business. To do so, follow the steps provided below:

1. Go to the Help menu.
2. Select the Send Feedback Online option.
3. Choose the Product Suggestion option. A pop-up window displays.
4. Enter your feedback suggestion.
5. Click the Send Feedback button. The feedback is sent.
