Cant Login !

It's been 24Hours since I've been unable to login. I contacted support thru screen "chat" and they told me their engineers are working on it. I have zero faith I'll ever recover my businesses data . My business has  been shutdown since. I have no confidence QB will ever "get back to me" What should I do now?

IF they cant fix anything in 24 hours , I'm screwed.!

I wish I could fix the login issue on my end as soon as possible. However, I don't have enough tools to further investigate the problem here in the Community. This way, you get back where you left off. 

 

The said investigation is still In Progress in our records. Our engineers are tirelessly investigating this experience and exploring the root cause. Rest assured that QuickBooks will send an email once the issue is fixed.

 

For now, I suggest you continue to follow up with our Customer Service team about the investigation status. Make sure to contact them within business hours to ensure a swift response.

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser. Did you get any ticket support number?

yes they tried incognito browser but no results.

the ticket # is INV-72874

It's been since Monday night my business has been shut down. I try and contact QB every 3 or 4 hours but get same results.

My business is 100% shutdown because of this. ( And I have zero backup of all my data here)

If after more than 24 hours QB can't get me logged in to my account, I'm doomed.

I have little faith QB still has my data but I was a able to request my data be downloaded to me but QB indicates it may take 15 days, DOOMED again.

One question: If by some miracle I do get all my company data back in some reasonable time do you know if QB data can typically be exported and used by competing accounting software?

Thanks for your response, I know you're not involved in the technical side of my particular problem, but i do need to get ready in case I get my data back.

You can purchase a 3rd party conversion service and we may recommend several cloud based accounting app to explore.

"3rd party conversion service" is what I should prepare for in case I get my data back.

Do you have any particular recommendations?

Also any recommendation of "cloud based accounting app" would be greatly appreciated.

QUESTION: How do I make contact with "Customer Service Team'" ?

Is there any chance of finding a Phone # to talk to a live person?

This is the biggest existential threat to my business in 30 years I could be literally be WIPED OUT with the loss of all my data. On the street wiped out! I was stupid to trust the "cloud".

I need help.

I can see the impact of this login issue to your business. Therefore, let me route to the right support group in QuickBooks Online (QBO). That way, they can provide you updates about the status of the investigation. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner and click Talk to a human.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Select Get help from a human.
  5. Choose between Chat with usSchedule an appointment, or Have us call you.

Thank you very much for your help.

I spent more than two hours with a live person monitoring my computer and investigating the issue and at the end of the call I got the chilling realization that QB has lost my Businesses data. 29 years of customer data and all our accounting info lost to the "cloud". The tech person could not tell me a thing about any forward progress in restoring our lives. She indicated that the case will "pass on" to another department with better skills to investigate the issue with ZERO emphasis to them that this was having a devastating impart on our business and lives.

She indicated not knowing if or when a human will investigate our livelihoods fate. I realize "Pass on" means our case will go to a file to die.

Can you suggest any other method or any person to contact to get some answers to our plight?

Your data should be safe on their DRC system unless a force major occurs.

Great news and glad to know that! Consider converting your data from QB Online to the QB Desktop file format for archives. You can also consider using a backup restore app.

I can't log in with any browser. The login button just sticks at "signing in".

There are some error messages that will pop up if you can't sign in to your account. Such as WebPage cannot be found, Error 404: File not found, and QuickBooks Online (QBO) is currently unavailable, please try again later. Solutions were made to fix this.

 

First, you'll need to check your browser settings. Make sure that JavaScript and pop-ups are turned on because these are some of the browsers settings QBO needs to load, and then try to sign in you your account again.
