I am trying to connect Quickbooks Online to my Capital One credit card. I get to the screen that says "Which accounts do you want to connect?" My account is listed there under Connected Accounts but it does not allow me to select it and the "Connect" button is greyed. I can only click on "Skip for now". What am I doing wrong?
Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.
Hi, PalmParrot.
Thanks for letting us know about the connection issue you're currently experiencing with Capital one.
Usually, this error occurs when there's too much cache in the browser. To fix this, let's perform some troubleshooting steps. Let's start by accessing QuickBooks (QBO) account using a private browser. The following are the shortcut keys we can use:
If this works, we can clear the cache and cookies of your browser. If not, we can use another supported browser. Possible that your current browser may have a temporary issue with QuickBooks.
In addition, we also have an option to manually upload bank transactions. This is very helpful and applicable especially if there are missing transactions or if the bank won't download them.
For the steps in organizing your online transactions and keeping with the accuracy of your credit card account balance, consider reading this helpful article for reference: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
You'll also want to review your bank and credit card statements to make sure they match. Please read this article for more information and reference: Reconcile an Account in QuickBooks Online.
Please let me know how this work. I want to make sure you're able to connect with capital one.
That worked. I cleared everything. Thanks
