Yes, the payroll subscription you bought with our product will work if you have or upgraded your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) software to 2021.
Once you’ve installed your QBDT software, you can now activate your payroll service. I’ll show you how.
- Go to the Employees menu
- Select Payroll, and select Enter Service Key.
- Click Add.
- Enter the service key, and select Next.
- A confirmation message appears, then select Finish.

Once you’re done setting up your software, you can now run payroll to your employees whenever you’re ready.
