When emailing invoices from Quickbooks, is there a way to send the invoice and uploaded attachment as one file? Currently, when I select 'Invoice and Attachment' form the email tab, the invoice and document are attached to the email as two separate .pdf files.
Some of my customers require these documents combined into a single file.
Hi, @ashtanhill.
Currently, QuickBooks sends your invoices and attachments as two separate .pdf files. I can see that some customers want to receive the documents in a single file once you send them the entries. For now, you can utilize the Feedback feature to send this idea directly to our engineering team. This way, they could take action to help improve your experience. Rest assured they're working nonstop to enhance the product and deliver the best experiences to all QuickBooks users.
Here's how you can send feedback through QuickBooks:
Once done, your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development Team to help improve your QuickBooks experience.

Hi Team,
Is there any update on emailing an invoice and attachments as one file?
Thanks,

I am having issue with this. Everytime I click to email invoice with attachments , i only see the invoice and attachments are not “attached” or included. How to repair this?
Thanks for chiming in on this thread, @Enthrone. I'll provide some troubleshooting steps to include the attachments when sending your invoices in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
First off, please create a backup copy of your company file before starting the process. If there are changes that may occur, having a backup copy allows you to restore it to undo the changes.
Then, are you using Outlook or Webmail to send your invoices? If you're currently using Outlook, you'll want to install XPS document writer on your computer and send your invoices using Webmail instead of Outlook.
However, we can run the Verify/Rebuild tool if the issue persists. The Verify will detect any damaged data, and then the rebuild will attempt to fix the damaged data detected. It also allows your QuickBooks software to refresh the data inside the company file.
Here's how to verify data:
Next, here's how to rebuild the data:
Furthermore, you can check out this article to run a repair tool for your QBDT to fix some data issues with your company file: Repair your QuickBooks Desktop for Windows. Once the process is done, restart your computer and reopen your QBDT to check if you can email invoices with attachments.

Is this still ask issue or is there a way to fix it? I want the invoice and the attachments all in one document for my customer. Right now he has to click on the invoice and the attached documents separately.

Thanks for joining the conversation, @fastbackfreight.
I see how crucial it is for your business to have the invoice and attachments in a single PDF file. Currently, this option is still unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Thus, I recommend submitting your feedback directly to our Product Development team if you haven't done it yet. They can look into this suggestion and consider including this in future updates.

Is this feature available in QBO? All of my vendors require only one pdf. I spend hours saving and combining documents and emailing individually. Huge time sucker. Please advise!
Good evening, @melindapiper.
Thanks for chiming in on this thread.
Unfortunately, the feature isn't available in QuickBooks Online. We do recommend giving our Product Developers some feedback so they can add this in the near future.
